Start-up contribution exemption (ACRE) narrowed for micro-entrepreneurs from 2020
From 1 January 2020, the start-up contribution exemption (ACRE) is no longer open to all micro-entrepreneurs: only those who also belong to one of the groups listed in article L. 5141-1 of the Labour Code (notably benefit-receiving jobseekers, minimum income recipients, people under 26, people setting up in priority neighbourhoods) qualify. Founders outside the micro-entrepreneur regime remain eligible.
