Supplementary health insurance aid raised to €200 for 16 to 24-year-olds
Article 133 of the 2010 Finance Act lowers from 25 to 16 the age from which the aid for buying supplementary health insurance (ACS) reaches €200 per person (Article L. 863-1 of the Social Security Code). Beneficiaries aged 16 to 24 thus receive the same amount as adults up to 59, double the aid that applied to them before. The measure applies to annual entitlements granted on or after 1 January 2010. The ACS was merged into the complémentaire santé solidaire in November 2019.
