Short-time work allowance cut to 60% of gross pay outside the hardest-hit sectors

The decree of 29 June 2020 sets the short-time work allowance paid to employers at 60% of gross hourly pay (capped at 4.5 times the minimum wage) for hours not worked from 1 June to 30 September 2020, down from 70%. The 70% rate is kept for tourism, hospitality, catering, sport, culture, air transport and events, for related sectors that lost at least 80% of turnover, and for businesses still closed by law or administrative order.
