Disabled child education allowance (AEEH) granted without time limit from 50% incapacity when no improvement is expected

Decree No. 2026-227 of 30 March 2026 amends Article R. 541-4 of the Social Security Code. The disabled child education allowance (AEEH) can be granted without time limit (until the end of entitlement) from a 50% incapacity rate, instead of only from 80%, when the child's condition is not expected to improve. Otherwise, the allowance and its supplement are granted for three to five years if the rate is at least 80%, and for two to five years if it is between 50% and 80%.
