Exceptional €8,000 aid for hiring long-term jobseekers on professionalisation contracts

Decree No. 2021-1404 of 29 October 2021 creates an exceptional State aid of up to €8,000 for the first year of the contract for employers concluding a professionalisation contract with a jobseeker aged at least 30 registered for at least twelve of the last fifteen months without activity or with reduced activity (78 hours per month at most). The contract must prepare a diploma or qualification up to level 7, a professional qualification certificate, or fall under the experimental contract provided for by the law of 5 September 2018. The aid covers contracts concluded from 1 November 2021 to 30 June 2022, then, without the age condition, from 1 July to 31 December 2022. It is managed and paid by Pôle emploi and replaces the other hiring aids for professionalisation contracts for these contracts.
