Hiring aid for an additional work-study employee under 26 in companies with fewer than 250 employees
The decree of 16 May 2011 creates State aid for employers with fewer than 250 employees who hire a young person under 26 on an apprenticeship or professionalisation contract, where the hire increases their average number of work-study employees. The aid, managed by Pôle emploi, covers twelve months and corresponds to employer social security contributions calculated using a formula set by the decree. It applies to contracts starting between 1 March and 31 December 2011; the decree of 26 December 2011 extends it to contracts starting up to 30 June 2012.
