€4,000 subsidy for hiring a first employee

Decree 2015-806 creates a €4,000 State subsidy for companies outside groups that hire a first employee on a permanent contract or a fixed-term contract of more than twelve months starting between 9 June 2015 and 8 June 2016, a window extended to 31 December 2016 by a decree of 25 January 2016. The company must not have employed anyone beyond a trial period in the previous twelve months. The aid is paid by the Agency for Services and Payment at €500 per quarter for two years, prorated for part-time work. Private household employers are excluded.
