Extension into 2007 of the employment aid for hotels, cafés and restaurants, increased for traditional restaurants
Article 138 of the 2007 Finance Act extends to 31 December 2007 the employment aid for employers in the hotel, café and restaurant sector created by the Act of 9 August 2004. It provides an increase for traditional restaurants and a specific scale for hotel-restaurants, café-tobacconists and bars, and raises the wage threshold of the flat-rate aid to the minimum wage plus 3%. Decree No. 2007-900 of 15 May 2007 raises the flat-rate aid from €114.40 to €180 per month per employee for traditional restaurants, for work periods in 2007. The aid was later extended, then abolished on 1 July 2009 with the VAT cut for restaurants.
