Exceptional employment aid for jobseekers whose benefits run out (2010)
Decree No. 2010-575 of 31 May 2010 opens an enhanced job-integration pathway, offered by Pôle emploi, to jobseekers whose unemployment insurance rights run out between 1 January and 31 December 2010 and who are not entitled to any solidarity allowance, the RSA, the RMI or the single-parent allowance. Pôle emploi offers them paid training or a subsidised contract. Failing that, they can receive an exceptional employment aid of up to €15.14 per day for at most 182 days, subject to a monthly income ceiling (€2,119.60 for a single person, €3,330.80 for a couple). The aid is taxable and subject to the CSG.
