Decree 2025-920 of 6 September 2025 creates, on an experimental basis in departments set by order, an aid for owner-occupiers of houses (two dwellings at most) subject to income conditions (very low, low and intermediate). It funds a study phase (project support and vulnerability diagnosis) and then prevention works against damage caused by shrinking and swelling clay soils. The remaining cost of works cannot fall below 10%, 20% or 30% depending on income. The aid is granted by the prefect within the credits of programme 181.
