Aid to rail freight companies for SNCF special pension scheme contributions
Decree 2025-1140 of 27 November 2025 creates an aid for rail freight companies (and certain related maintenance or rail safety companies) employing staff affiliated to the SNCF special pension scheme. It reimburses amounts paid under the T2 rate of that scheme's contribution for employment periods from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2034, for employees in post on 1 January 2025. It is paid by SNCF on behalf of the State or by the State, after review by the rail staff pension fund.
