Flat-rate aid for bringing livestock farms in nitrate vulnerable zones up to standard
Decree 2015-1294 creates a flat-rate State aid, under the agricultural de minimis regime, for farmers with at least one livestock building in a nitrate vulnerable zone already designated on 31 December 2011, who declared before 1 November 2014 a plan to increase manure storage capacity and undertake to complete the work before 1 October 2016 (at least €12,500 excluding VAT). Farms must have a debt ratio of at least 20%. The aid, between €1,875 and €15,000 depending on the economic situation, is granted by the prefect after a call for projects and paid by the Agency for Services and Payment; payment claims had to be filed by 31 December 2016.
