Financial aid for orphans of parents who were victims of acts of barbarity during the Second World War
The decree of 27 July 2004 grants a reparation measure to persons whose father or mother, of French or foreign nationality, was deported from French territory during the Occupation and died in deportation, or was executed, when they were under twenty-one at the time. The beneficiary chooses a lump sum of €27,440.82 or a life annuity of €457.35 a month, paid by the National Office for Veterans. It cannot be combined with the compensation created by the decree of 13 July 2000 or with a German or Austrian life annuity for the same events.
