Driving licence aid for apprentices
Flat-rate aid of €500 to fund a category B driving licence for adult apprentices, with no means test. Can be combined with other aid. Note: abolition planned in 2026 under the 2026 budget bill (PLF 2026).

Measure impact
One-off flat-rate aid of €500 per apprentice to fund a category B licence. Conditions: be 18 or over and hold an apprenticeship contract (in any year). Application made through the CFA (apprentice training centre) with a copy of the driving school invoice (dated within the last 12 months). The 2026 budget bill provides for the abolition of this aid.
