Regional aid of at least €1,000 for hiring apprentices in firms with fewer than 250 employees
Article 123 of the 2015 Finance Act creates an apprentice hiring aid of at least €1,000, paid by the region or the territorial authority of Corsica at the end of the trial period, for any apprenticeship contract signed in a firm with fewer than 250 employees that hires its first apprentice since 1 January of the previous year or an additional apprentice. From 1 July 2015, the firm must also be covered by a sector agreement with commitments on work-study training. The State compensates regions €1,000 per aid paid. The aid applies to contracts signed from 1 July 2014.
