Aid for farms employing an employee or trainee with a view to handing over the farm

Decree 2015-777 implements the aid provided for by article L. 330-4 of the rural code, introduced by the agriculture act of 13 October 2014, alongside the generation contract. Farms that cannot benefit from the generation contract aid and hire on a permanent contract an employee, or host a trainee, with a view to handing over the business outside the family receive €4,000 per year for an employee and €2,000 per year for a trainee, for up to three years, prorated to working time. Its legal basis (article L. 330-4 of the rural code) was repealed by ordinance 2017-1718 of 20 December 2017.
