New State aid amounts for international solidarity volunteering
The order of 6 August 2026 replaces the order of 1 December 2022 and sets State support for international solidarity volunteering (VSI), to be reviewed every three years. The State contribution is €430 a month for a volunteer serving abroad and €390 a month for a volunteer hosted in France under reciprocity. The order caps support for associations' costs (management €165 a month, training €780, return-to-work support €358, insurance), sets for reciprocity an installation bonus of €1,200 and an allowance contribution of €360 a month, caps the job-integration bonus at €2,001 and sets the resettlement allowance at €540, €1,020 or €2,220 depending on mission length (12, 18 or 24 months). The allowance paid to volunteers is at least €150 a month (€800 for reciprocity volunteers).
