Housing allowances: non-payment threshold lowered from €24 to €15 per month
Decree no. 2006-1817 of 23 December 2006 lowers from €24 to €15 the monthly amount below which the family housing allowance and the social housing allowance are not paid (Articles D. 542-7, D. 755-25 and D. 831-2 of the Social Security Code, including overseas). It raises the flat amount in Article D. 542-5-2 from €29 to €30 and revises the flat rents used for students in university residences and residents of hostels.
