Creation of the asylum seeker allowance (ADA) replacing the temporary waiting allowance
Implementing the asylum reform act no. 2015-925 of 29 July 2015, Decree 2015-1329 sets the rules of the asylum seeker allowance, which replaces the temporary waiting allowance for asylum seekers. It is reserved for people aged 18 or over who have accepted the material reception conditions and whose resources are below the RSA. The daily amount depends on household size: €6.80 for one person, €10.20 for two, €13.60 for three, up to €37.40 for ten, plus €4.20 per day for each adult who could not be offered accommodation. It is managed by the French Office for Immigration and Integration and paid by the Agency for Services and Payment.
