Allowance for jobseekers in training (AFDEF)

Decree No. 2009-458 of 22 April 2009 creates an allowance paid by Pôle emploi to jobseekers who, while receiving unemployment insurance, start in 2009 a training course prescribed by Pôle emploi and whose entitlement runs out before the end of the course. Eligible courses lead to a recognised qualification for a job with identified recruitment difficulties in the region. The daily amount equals the last unemployment insurance benefit received, within the maximum training duration.
