State allowance for vocational high school students during their work placements
Decree No. 2023-765 of 11 August 2023 creates an allowance paid by the Services and Payment Agency to vocational high school students for their work placement periods. The order of the same day sets a daily flat rate by diploma and year. Article 10 of the 2024 Social Security Financing Act excludes this allowance from the CSG base.

Measure impact
August 2023 scale: €10 per placement day in the first year of CAP and in the vocational second year, €15 in the second year of CAP and the vocational penultimate year, €20 in the final vocational year, within an annual ceiling per course. Applies to placements from 1 September 2023; payments from 1 January 2024 for placements completed in 2023.
