Lower stamp duty on passports
Article 55 of the 2010 Finance Act lowers the stamp duty charged for issuing a passport when the applicant provides their own photographs (Article 953 of the General Tax Code): from €88 to €86 for an adult, from €44 to €42 for a minor aged fifteen or over and from €19 to €17 for a child under fifteen.
