Lower reimbursement of blue-label medicines (35% to 30%) and medical devices (65% to 60%)
The decree of 14 January 2011 raises the ranges of patient co-payment: from 60-70% to 70-75% for medicines with moderate medical benefit (blue label) and from 30-40% to 40-50% for medical devices on the list of reimbursable products. The order of 18 March 2011 sets the co-payment at 70% for these medicines and 40% for medical devices, bringing health insurance reimbursement down from 35% to 30% and from 65% to 60%. The new rate applies to medical devices from 2 May 2011; a decision of the director general of UNCAM dated 30 March 2011 applies it to the medicines concerned on the same date.

Measure impact
