Lower rates of the "Pinel" tax reduction for investments made in 2023

Article 168 of the 2021 Finance Act extends the "Pinel" scheme (Article 199 novovicies of the General Tax Code) to 2024 while gradually lowering its rates. For purchases made in 2023, the tax reduction falls from 12% to 10.5% for a six-year rental commitment and from 18% to 15% for nine years, except for homes located in priority neighbourhoods or meeting energy performance and quality criteria ("Pinel +").
