Flat-rate deduction on rents of older housing let under conditions ("Besson ancien") raised from 25% to 40%
Article 79 of the 2003 Finance Act raises from 25% to 40% the flat-rate deduction applied to rental income from older housing let with capped rents and tenant income (the "Besson ancien" scheme, Article 31, I, 1°, e and g of the General Tax Code). The measure applies from the taxation of 2003 income. It stems from an amendment of the Senate finance committee tabled by Philippe Marini on 9 December 2002.
