Green bonus: end of aid for plug-in hybrids and current scale kept until end-2022

Decree 2022-960 of 29 June 2022 restricts the green bonus from 1 July 2022 to cars emitting 0 g CO2/km (instead of 20 g or less), which excludes plug-in hybrids, and raises the price cap for eligible cars from €45,000 to €47,000. It repeals the scale cut planned for 1 July 2022 and postpones it to 1 January 2023: the maximum bonus stays at €6,000 (€4,000 for legal entities) until end-2022 and then drops to €5,000 (€3,000). Decree 2022-1085 of 29 July 2022 makes a technical adjustment to Articles D. 251-7 and D. 251-8 of the Energy Code and extends the transitional arrangements.
