Refocused 2015 ecological bonus and conversion premium for scrapping an old diesel car
Decree 2014-1672 overhauls the ecological bonus from 1 January 2015: 27% of the purchase cost capped at €6,300 for vehicles emitting up to 20 g CO2/km, 20% capped at €4,000 for 21-60 g/km, and 5% of the cost, between €1,000 and €2,000, for hybrids emitting 61-110 g/km; combustion vehicles above 60 g/km are no longer eligible. From 1 April 2015, Decree 2015-361 replaces the €200 top-up for scrapping an old vehicle with a complementary aid of €3,700 (≤ 20 g/km) or €2,500 (21-60 g/km) when a diesel car first registered before 1 January 2001 is scrapped.
