Ecological bonus reduced and refocused on 14 February 2024 (ended for companies and used vehicles)

Decree No. 2024-102 of 12 February 2024 lowers by €1,000 the maximum ecological bonus for buying or leasing new cars and vans for households in the top five income deciles (€4,000 instead of €5,000 for a car), cuts the bonus for new vans bought by legal entities by €1,000, and abolishes the bonus for new cars bought by legal entities and for used cars and vans. It also lowers the scrappage premium and ends the social leasing aid (separate entry).
