Bicycle bonus and bicycle scrappage premium extended (15 August - 31 December 2022)

Decree 2022-1151 of 12 August 2022 strengthens State aid for bicycles from 15 August to 31 December 2022. The bonus for an electrically assisted bicycle no longer depends on local aid: 40% of the price up to €400 for households whose reference taxable income per share is €6,300 or less and for disabled people, €300 for others. The cap for cargo, adapted and folding bikes rises to €2,000 for these households (€1,000 for others). A bonus of 40% up to €150 is created for non-electric bicycles bought by low-income households. The scrappage premium for a bicycle rises to €3,000 (€1,500 for others).
