E-bike bonus restricted to non-taxpaying households and tied to local aid

Decree No. 2017-1851 of 29 December 2017 restricts, from 1 February 2018, the State bonus for buying an electrically assisted bicycle to individuals whose income tax for the previous year is nil. The aid is paid only if a local authority grants aid for the same purpose; it tops it up without exceeding it, and the combined amount is capped at the lower of 20% of the price including VAT and €200.
