€5,000 Talents grants to prepare for civil service competitive exams
Decree No. 2026-847 of 7 September 2026 amends the Talents grant scheme (Decree No. 2025-1149 of 28 November 2025): anyone enrolled in a "Prépa Talents" or "Parcours Talents" listed by order receives a grant to prepare for one or more category A or B civil service, judiciary or military competitive exams. The order of the same day sets the amount at €5,000 per year, paid in two instalments (€2,500 on enrolment, €2,500 from March upon proof of attendance and sitting an exam), and provides for recovery in case of default.
