CDHR: removal of the household-composition uplift
Additional article adopted by the National Assembly at first reading. When computing the differential contribution on high incomes (CDHR), the tax already paid would no longer be increased by €1,500 per dependant and €12,500 for jointly taxed couples (wording deleted from article 224 III 2° of the General Tax Code). Applies from the taxation of 2027 income.

Measure impact
Affects households liable to the CDHR (reference taxable income of at least €250,000 for a single person, €500,000 for a couple). Without this uplift, the gap between tax paid and the 20% rate widens, increasing the contribution due, in particular for couples and households with dependants.
