Prepaid CESU exemption extended to company managers and public employees
Articles 146 and 147 of the 2007 Finance Act widen the income tax and social contribution exemption for financial aid paid to fund prepaid universal service employment vouchers (CESU). Article 146 extends it to the business owner and, in companies, to the chair, managing directors, managers and members of the management board, provided the voucher can benefit all employees under the same allocation rules. Article 147 extends it to aid paid by public-law bodies to their staff, employees and dependants. Both measures apply to income received from 1 January 2007.
