One-off €100 energy voucher top-up for 2021
Decree No. 2021-1541 of 29 November 2021 raises the face value of the 2021 energy voucher by €100, amid a sharp rise in energy prices. The top-up takes the form of an additional energy voucher, valid until 31 March 2023, sent to households receiving the 2021 energy voucher. The specific aid for residents of social residences is increased by the same amount. The corresponding appropriations are opened by Amending Finance Act No. 2021-1549 of 1 December 2021.

Measure impact
According to the decree's notice, more than 5.8 million households receive an additional €100 voucher at the end of 2021, usable for energy bills or energy renovation work. The Senate finance committee report puts the cost at €533.9 million.
