Exceptional energy voucher for households heated with fuel oil (2022)
Decree 2022-1407 of 5 November 2022 creates an exceptional energy voucher for households heated with domestic fuel oil whose reference taxable income per consumption unit is below €20,000: €200 below €10,800 per consumption unit, €100 between €10,800 and €20,000. It is sent automatically before end-2022 to 2022 energy-voucher recipients who used their last voucher to pay for fuel oil, and other households could apply until 31 March 2023. The voucher is valid until 31 March 2024.

Measure impact
Senate report 779 estimates the target population at 1.6 million households (lowest five income deciles). The appropriations were opened by an amendment adopted in the National Assembly to the amending finance law of 16 August 2022.
