Social integration contract (CIVIS) with a State allowance for 18-25 year olds
Articles 13 and 14 of the social cohesion programming Act of 18 January 2005 create a right to support towards employment for young people aged 16 to 25 in difficulty, provided by local youth missions, and reform the social integration contract (CIVIS) concluded with the State. Holders aged 18 to 25 may receive a non-transferable, non-seizable allowance during periods when they have neither pay nor any other allowance. Decree No. 2005-241 of 14 March 2005 sets this allowance at between €5 and €10 per day, up to €300 per month and €900 per year.
