Top-up of supplementary pension points for former farm operators

Implementing article 35 of the pensions act no. 2014-40 of 20 January 2014, Decree 2015-1107 sets the conditions for granting a differential top-up of compulsory supplementary pension points to farm or agricultural business operators. It aims to bring their total basic and supplementary pensions from the self-employed farmers' scheme up to a minimum amount, set at 75% of the net minimum wage for a full career. Claimants need 32.5 years of insurance in the farm scheme, including at least 17.5 years as operator. It applies to pensions due from 1 January 2015.
