More flexible time-savings account: use for employee savings and retirement with the employer top-up tax and social regime

Article 2 of the Act of 31 March 2005 reforming the organisation of working time rewrites Article L. 227-1 of the Labour Code: the time-savings account (CET) can be credited at the employee's or employer's initiative and used for additional pay, employee savings, retirement or buying back pension contributions. Rights corresponding to an employer top-up allocated to collective, compulsory supplementary pension schemes benefit from the regime of Article 83 (2° or 2° 0 bis) of the General Tax Code and the exemptions of Article L. 242-1 of the Social Security Code; those allocated to a collective retirement savings plan (PERCO) benefit from the regime of Articles L. 443-7 and L. 443-8 of the Labour Code.
