Contrat d'avenir and CI-RMA opened to disabled adult allowance recipients, with more flexible durations
Act No. 2005-841 of 26 July 2005 opens the contrat d'avenir and the CI-RMA (subsidised employment contracts previously reserved for recipients of the RMI, ASS and API) to recipients of the disabled adult allowance (AAH) (Art. 16). During the agreement, the recipient keeps an AAH reduced by the amount of the aid paid to the employer (new Article L. 821-7-2 of the Social Security Code). Article 14 sets the contrat d'avenir agreement at two years, renewable for up to twelve months (thirty-six months for people over fifty and disabled workers), with an optional derogatory duration of six to twenty-four months; Article 17 allows the State to run the contrat d'avenir for ASS, API and AAH recipients.
