New additional contribution from social housing bodies to the Social Rental Housing Guarantee Fund
Article 47 of the urban policy and renewal Act creates Article L. 452-4-1 of the Construction and Housing Code: social housing (HLM) bodies pay each year, in the first quarter, an additional contribution to the Social Rental Housing Guarantee Fund (CGLLS). It comprises a flat part, equal to an amount set each year by order up to €10 multiplied by the number of rental homes, and a variable part based on the body's net self-financing, at a rate set by order up to 15%. Between 40% and 50% of the additional contributions fund the National Urban Renewal Agency (ANRU). The CGLLS is also tasked with funding the reorganisation and merger of HLM bodies.
