Creation of the 'mobility passport' for overseas students and young people
The decree of 18 February 2004 creates a State aid called the 'mobility passport', with no means test, so that people living overseas can follow training outside their territory. It covers one economy-class return trip per academic year for students aged 26 or under whose course is unavailable or full locally, and trips for young people aged 18 to 30 in vocational training, job integration or shortlisted for certain competitive exams. Management may be delegated by agreement to a specialised body.
