Creation of the activity bonus replacing the in-work RSA and the employment bonus
The Act of 17 August 2015 on social dialogue and employment (Art. 57 to 60) created the activity bonus (prime d'activité), paid by family allowance funds and the MSA to low-income workers, whether employees or self-employed. From 1 January 2016 it replaced the in-work component of the RSA and the employment bonus (prime pour l'emploi). Decree No. 2015-1710 of 21 December 2015 set the flat-rate amount at €524.16 per month for a single person, increased according to household composition.
