Article 25 of the Agricultural Orientation Act creates Article 200 undecies of the General Tax Code: farmers (individuals) whose activity requires daily presence on the farm receive an income tax credit equal to 50% of the costs incurred between 1 January 2006 and 31 December 2009 to be replaced during their leave, up to fourteen days a year. The cost of a day is capped at 42 times the guaranteed minimum hourly rate. The credit is refunded if it exceeds the tax due. Decree No. 2006-800 of 6 July 2006 sets the details.
