CITE, eco-PTZ and MaPrimeRénov': tighter RGE qualification criteria and quality label required for subcontracting
The order of 23 June 2026 changes the qualification criteria ('RGE') that firms must meet for their customers to receive the energy transition tax credit (CITE), the zero-rate eco-loan (éco-PTZ) and MaPrimeRénov': qualification granted per establishment, decision by a body including experts, a four-year claims record taken into account, new technical resource criteria (one month after publication); site inspections that may involve the customer directly and a new route based on recognised experience (from 1 March 2027). Decree No. 2026-774 of 12 August 2026 and the order of 30 September 2026 implement Article 26 of Act No. 2025-594 of 30 June 2025 against fraud in public aid: the main contractor invoicing subsidised work carried out by subcontractors must hold a quality label from 1 January 2027.
