Gas distribution tariff contribution: flow-rate component added to the base
Decree No. 2026-742 of 6 August 2026 amends Decree No. 2005-123 of 14 February 2005 on the tariff contribution on electricity and natural gas transmission and distribution services (CTA): the gas CTA base now includes, where applicable, the standardised flow-rate component of the distribution tariff, in addition to the annual subscription. The decree adapts the regulations to the change in the base provided for in Article 18 of Law No. 2004-803 of 9 August 2004.

Natural gas customers on tariff options T1 to T3 with a meter above 40 Nm3/h (mainly businesses and multi-unit buildings): the CTA is also calculated on the flow-rate component of their distribution tariff from 8 August 2026.
