Alzheimer's disease drugs no longer reimbursed

An order of 29 May 2018 removes from the list of medicines reimbursable to insured persons, from 1 August 2018, products containing donepezil, galantamine, rivastigmine and memantine (Aricept, Reminyl, Exelon, Ebixa and generics), following opinions of the Transparency Committee of the French National Authority for Health (HAS) finding an insufficient medical benefit.
