French tax residence of executives of large French companies
The 2020 Finance Act clarifies the professional test for tax residence: executives of companies headquartered in France with annual turnover above €250m there (consolidated for groups) are deemed to carry out their main activity in France, unless proven otherwise. This covers chairs-CEOs, CEOs, deputy CEOs, management board chairs and members, managers and similar executives.
