Doubling of the medical deductible (franchise médicale)

The medical deductible, the amount paid by the patient and not reimbursed by the Assurance maladie (national health insurance), was doubled on 31 March 2024. It rises from €0.50 to €1 per box of medicine, from €2 to €4 per medical transport journey, and from €0.50 to €1 per paramedical procedure
