Adoption grant of the early childhood benefit (PAJE) set at twice the birth grant

Decree No. 2005-1172 of 12 September 2005, implementing Act No. 2005-744 of 4 July 2005 reforming adoption, amends Article D. 531-2 of the Social Security Code: the adoption grant of the early childhood benefit (PAJE) is set at 459.5% of the monthly base for family allowances, twice the rate of the birth grant (229.75%). It applies to each child adopted or placed for adoption from 1 August 2005.
