EU additional customs duties of 15% and 25% on US products (Boeing WTO dispute)
Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1646 of 7 November 2020 applies additional ad valorem customs duties on certain products originating in the United States, following the authorisation granted on 26 October 2020 by the WTO Dispute Settlement Body in dispute DS353 on subsidies to Boeing, for countermeasures capped at USD 3,993,212,564 a year. Products in Annex I (notably civil aircraft) bear an additional 15% duty, those in Annex II (agricultural and food products, spirits, industrial goods) an additional 25% duty. The regulation entered into force on the day after publication, 10 November 2020; according to EUR-Lex it is no longer in force, the duties having been suspended in 2021.
